‘Before....not after!’These group of islands are delicious!! I was there before The Wave hit and I couldn't believe the relaxed attitude of people there are the stunning colour of the water! There are 2 large beaches on Phi Phi Don (the one you can actually stay on...not The Beach beach as you cannot stay there!) and depending on the time of day you can swim or walk out for miles and miles! Spring roles and savoury pancakes were a staple diet!!! I don't know what it is like now but it was beginning to hot up on the travelling front and could be a little difficult to get away from that if you want a bit of peace. Enjoy!
