Frankfurt Airport is located 12km (8 miles) southwest of Frankfurt's city centre. It is the third busiest airport in Europe and consists of two terminals, with a third one in the works.

How to Arrive via Frankfurt Airport

Train

There are two passenger train facilities located in the Frankfurt airport. The first is a regional train, located beneath terminal 1. Lines S8 and S9 will get you to central Frankfurt. There is also a long distance train service in a separate building connected to terminal 1. These high-speed trains travel to Cologne and several other cities in Germany as well as other places in Europe.

Bus

Buses run regularly between the airport and the city centre.

Taxi

Taxis are readily available outside the airport. It is generally a 20 to 30 minute ride to the city centre, depending on traffic.
