At the Marmara hotel in Antalya there are no decisions to be made at check in between an ocean or a garden view and no disappointment when your preference is not available because this is the world’s only revolving hotel giving you a full 360° panoramic view; that is if you’re willing to sit looking out your window for the 22 hours it takes for the hotel to fully rotate once. It seems as if the panoramic rotation is an excuse to charge a higher price for all the rooms when often guests would prefer just to have an ocean view rather than the whole she-bang. The hotel boasts a private beach and spa, a man made canoe river and most bizarrely of all, in the centre of the hotel are 8 separately themed columns where you can climb (climbing column), read books (library column) or develop your artistic skills (graffiti column). Despite the setting, the novelty of the rotation will wear off as the steep prices start to wear you down leaving the Marmara with little to recommend.
