The Real Club de Golf Las Bristas was designed in the 1970s by leading architect Robert Trent Jones Senior with high greens well protected by bunkers. From the moment it opened, this course attracted Spanish royalty and countless championship competitions. The Spanish Open, Cup of Nations and the World Cup were all played here in the 80's. The most unique aspect of Las Bristas is the eclectic array of wildlife and plant life. There are trees from every continent including a large collection of palm trees. With freerange wildlife wandering the course some people even say it resembles a botanical garden.
