Montreal Botanic Gardens

See more Gardens. See best of Montreal in Canada.

The Montreal Botanic Gardens is stunning…. “With its collection of 22,000 plant species and cultivars, 10 exhibition greenhouses, some thirty thematic gardens, and teams of researchers and activities staff, the Montréal Botanical Garden ranks as one of the world's largest and most spectacular botanical gardens.” There were some exquisite roses in the Rose Garden, and the Shade Garden has the American Hosta Society National Display Garden. Visits to the Japanese and Chinese Gardens are a must as well. Make a day of it with a lunch stop. Open year round with various activities ongoing.
