The Rocky Horror Picture Show (Dir: Jim Sharman, 1975). Oakley Court, Windsor Road, Oakley Green, Windsor, Berkshire, England. Most of the creepy castle’s interior and exterior shots, including Brad, Janet and Columbia’s rooms (or bordellos), the dining room and the entrance hall and staircase were all shot here (so this is where they do the time warp - well some of it - the bits with the motorbike were a set.). This castle has been used for heaps of old Hammer B-Grade horror films, including 'The Bride of Dracular', so it's perfect for this spoof on the genre. It's also close to Bray Studios where the sets were built for the chemistry lab and the extended entrance hall and ballroom were filmed. It's now a hotel (but it's been all done up so don't expect to stay at Rocky Horror Mansion.). The Church where Brad and Janet get engaged is nearby. My favourite Rocky Horror trivia is that the lips over the opening credits are Patricia Quinn's but the voice is Richard O'Brien's (and Dr. Frank N Furter's tattoo says BOSS.).
