Annapurna Circuit    Annapurna Circuit

A circuit of the stunning Annapurna Massif - one of the classic walks of the world.

23 days, from $3166 (Group tour). Himalayan Kingdoms »

Kali Gandaki is one of the world's deepest gorges or canyons and at the point it lies between the mountains of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna, both over 8000 metres high, it is the over 6000 m deep.

Through the gorge flows the Gandaki River which travels though the Mustang area and eventually joins the Ganges in India. Nepal's largest hydroelectricity plant is built on the river just beyond the gorge.

This is a particularly scenic area surrounded by some of the worlds tallest peaks and dramatic glaciers and mountain passes, so it's ideal for adventure trekking and camping expeditions.
