In the heart of the Okavango delta, Mombo camp has fast become a top safari retreat, unique for the fact that it is the only place where all the big five can be seen in one spot. If you want to discover the area, conventional camping is not an option. This is a good, although somewhat more formal alternative. The tents are situated in the game reserve, a truly African environment.
For those comfortable sharing a living area with the resident wildlife, this camp is a little gem. The tents have been designed by two architects to blend into the environment, but also to offer comfort after a long day on safari- and safari is what it is all about. The climate is subtropical and the best months to visit are between May and October for great game viewing.
