On Harbour Island, make sure to think pink. Aptly named, Pink Sands Beach gets its tint from microscopic animals living under rocks and among reefs. These reefs make swimming, snorkeling, and other water activities easier by shielding the area from dangerous currents. One perk of this 3-mile, peachy beach is that visitors can engage in water activities without dealing with pesky crowds usually present at Bahamas' other beaches.
