The Museum is located on the ground floor of the colonial-era 'Hotel de Ville' (City Hall). It contains artefacts from sites in Sfax (Roman Taparura and Thaenae) and from Christian sites (Skhira) and other Roman sites such as Chebba and Acholla. The museum is in the downtown area, between the port and the Medina, on the intersection of the two main streets, Avenue Bourguiba and Hedi Chaker. A brochure of the museum is available on the website www.ecfi/-t.com, as is more information about the histroy of the city itself. Open daily except Sunday, 8:30-1pm, 3pm-6pm.
