Zermatt Description

Known for its beautiful scenery and location in the Matter Valley on the Swiss and Italian border, Zematt offers a panorama of 33 4,000m peaks including the Matterhorn.

With 394km of pistes there is skiing to suit everyone, but the majority of trails are suitable for intermediate skiers and there is limited choice for beginners. Zermatt also has ski and snowboarding schools. The resort is also known for it’s quality restaurants, international night life and car free town (they have electric taxis.).

Zermatt offers a huge variety of snowsports including cross country skiing, off piste skiing, heliskiing, curling, ice skating, glacier skiing, tobogganing, sledding, ice climbing, ice hockey and dog sled rides.
