Relais della Rovere

Charming 11th century Benedictine Abbey conversion, named after Cardinal Della Rovere, later Pope Giulio II, a patron of Renaissance artists Michealangelo, Rafeal and others. With just 30 rooms and a tranquil setting in extensive gardens, on the edge of the medieval hilltop village of Colle Val d’Elsa, the della Rovere is a great way to experience something of the 'real' Tuscany.

Although used for conferences and business events, this hotel is also a good base for visitors wishing to explore the region. Rooms have character, many with beamed ceilings, natural wood furnishings, and fine fabrics. Open air dining in the summer is candlelit and romantic. They also have a great outdoor pool.
