Review about Parc Asterix
Situated approximately 20 miles north of Paris, Parc Asterix, takes its guests along in the humorous adventures of the park's cartoon character, Asterix, and his friends. You will begin your journey in the times of ancient Gaul, the Roman Empire, through the Middle Ages and eventually back into the 21st century. The park has approximately 30 rides year-round, with various shows throughout the season. Hop onto the Tonnerre de Zeus and you will be speeding along a wooden roller coaster track at well over 80 kph. One of the park's newest attractions is the Gaulish Village, a village of 16 huts based off the Asterix comic series by Albert Uderzo. Acrobatic shows like Les Stars de l'Empire, provide a nice break from a day filled with thrill rides and roller coasters. The park attracts well over 2 million visitors a year with its various rides, shows, shopping, and food.
