My ski heaven

I am preparing for my sixth trip back to Oberlech ... and especially Pension Sabine .. where the alpine atmosphere and friendly hosts are outstanding. Getting there from USA is simple - Zurich Flugzug to Hauptbahnhof (10 min) by train; hourly trains to Langan am Arlberg (less than two hours but check for non-xfr trips), taxi (Euro 44) to your hotel.

Not the cheapest ski vacation - but you get full value which makes it more than worthwhile. I just don't ever now think of going skiing without considering Oberlech ... and day trips to St Anton are quick and easy.

Perhaps not the most rigorous runs - but delightful and UNCROWDED! And, perhaps the best part, the Brits haven't yet discovered the area and messed it up as they have Grindelwald. :)
