Review about Bali
Bali is an active volcanic island with white sand on one side and dark grey on the other. It’s fringed by reefs in many places and offers plenty of snorkelling and diving opportunities, as well as an interesting mountain jungle interior.
Famous for its surf culture, Bali has long been popular with Australian tourists, so there is good tourist infrastructure and accommodation ranging from budget to luxury.
The island is slowly recovering from the 2002 car bomb attack in Bali’s capital Kuta, which destroyed one of the most popular tourist nightspots, so it‘s not as busy as it used to be.
Kuta is still the most touristy of the islands towns, while Ubud has the museums, art galleries and the markets selling the most original and least touristy items.
