Avoid half term

I went to Bansko during half term. The resort was very busy and it showed. The hire equipment was very poor (bent poles, no skis the right length for my niece) and the service slow (three hours to get fitted for skis and boots). The teaching was OK, but the groups are quite big and the experience levels wide, so we often seemed to be coasting along and not learning much.
