What were the highlights of the trip for you? I'm planning to go at Christmas!

Beautiful!

I went to New York about five years ago at Christmas time, and it was beautiful! It may be a little colder, but the snow really makes everything sparkle. We took a horse-drawn carriage through central park, and it really was like a winter wonderland. I would definitely recommend trying it (if it isn't too cold)! I was so excited to see Times Square. That area has become such an icon for New York. I didn't get to see it at night, which I am sure is where the phrase "bright lights, big city" originated.
