At a small cafe in Salamanca students buzz with excitement about their classes and their social lives, locals gossip about other locals, and the coffee is strong and served steaming out of a tiny white mug. Spanish guitar music streams from the speakers as the sun nestles behind the Renaissance buildings, and evening takes over the city.

Bars and clubs begin to open their doors and lines of short skirts and gelled hair form outside the hottest places.
