High up in the mountain forests and bamboo of Rwanda’s Parc National Des Volcans, are some of the world’s last mountain gorillas. Trek volcanic mountain terrain in search of these famous creatures and explore Rwanda’s unique countryside at the same time.

Aside from the gorillas, Rwanda has unexpected beaches, friendly locals, and exotic rainforests to visit; however, the tiny landlocked country is often over shadowed by its violent past. The genocide of 1994 is usually what springs to mind when people first think of Rwanda, but the country has taken strides to becoming a safe and stable country where visitors are welcomed.
