Pattaya

Jomtien Beach is 6kms long, fairly flat and has consistent winds blowing in off the Thai Gulf. Sometimes the waves off shore can reach a metre and a half or more, but closer to the shore the water is much calmer. There isn't a lot of rocks or coral to watch out for and because of the long beach its not too crowded. The best conditions are between October and June when the steady northeast monsoonal wind blows at around 20knots.
