'The warm heart of Africa' is quite a title to live up to and giving babies away to music stars (allegedly) is one way to go about proving it. The other way is to be a country renowned for the unequaled friendliness it bestows on all visitors.

Malawi is a long, thin region of national parks, wildlife reserves and Lake Malawi, the third largest lake in Africa. The lake is one of the major attractions (apart from the babies) for travelers; its beaches, resorts, water-sports and marine life a magnet for divers and snorkellers, providing the largest variety of marine life of any other freshwater lake on earth.
