Has anybody on here been there in January?

If so how is the weather/temperature? are all of the facilities open and operational?

In Luxor it's the summer months which are the quietest - then temps regularly to 40ºC. But in January the average temp. is a civilised 21°C.

I visited Luxor in January. It's a good destination for a warm winter long weekend if you live in Europe.

I agree - full of history. We are definitely going to go back at some stage. Brilliant :-)

So much history in a small space...

An amazing place, with so much to see. You could quite happily spend several weeks here and still not see everything.
