It can be hard to believe that the now friendly and welcoming Danes were once best known for savagely marauding around Europe in horned helmets, but its hard to miss evidence of Denmark's Viking past. Modern Danes have created a vibrant festival culture of their own, with a multitude of music and art celebrations occurring throughout the summer.
