When to go
Long,
skinny, Chile streaks across longitudes meaning a very varied climate.
If your main destination is around the middle the milder seasons,
spring and autumn are best, if you're heading for the chilly bottom the
summer is most pleasant and if you're a skier then winter is the
obvious choice. If you're coming to party and meet people consider
February for the Carnival and festival season.
