Visiting the Bahamas is like waking up and realizing you’ve been living life in black and white. A rainbow of colour - from the pink sand beaches, to the rows of pastel houses and the flowing sails of the boats and windsurfers, to the deep green of the expansive golf courses, to the water which gleams in jade and turquoise until dusk - when it changes to a deep royal purple hue, set against the burning orange of the setting sun.
And that’s just on land. Underwater adventurers exploring some of the islands’ amazing snorkeling and diving sites will discover a whole other whole world in the undersea troughs, encountering the thousands of species alive with all the colours of the rainbow, scuttling about, bursting out of hidden coves like little neon lights.
