Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is located in the Brisbane suburb of Fig Pocket. It was founded in 1927. Living in the wildlife sanctuary are koalas, kangaroos, Tasmanian devils, wombats, echidnas and several species of reptiles. Australian parrots and cockatoos and other Australian birds, such as kookaburras, emus, and cassowarys.
