Reliably sunny weather, outside the momentary hurricane season, has made this dry, juicy cactus ridden island the darling of the sun seeking traveller who revel on the white, sandy beaches of its southern and western coasts. Aruba has been built up with old fashioned pillared and post buildings with generous shady verandahs in a candy store of pastels, which add to the islands charm and photogenic appeal.

Cruise ships stop here but there’s no reason why you can’t make it your main destination, as long as you like the beach.
